Before European settlers arrived in this rural South Carolina community, it was the site of a Chickasaw village. The Chickasaws were hunters, gatherers and were the original farmers of this land. While walking our hemp field we came across this arrowhead. It is a symbol of great significance and is the origin of our Arrowhead Seed Company name. It symbolizes the piercing effect of a taproot.
This Revolutionary Era farm has been cultivated by the current family for over 150 years with a very productive and progressive farming history. With tobacco, corn, soybeans, wheat, and cotton in our past, we are following tradition in row crops and making history in industrial hemp.
As hemp farmers ourselves we understand the challenges farmers face and understand the importance of trustworthy partners in the industry.
We are committed to progressive farming and are excited to offer our Seed Co-Op Program. Contact us for Details!
